Studies to identify trees that pose unacceptable risk and work recommendations to reduce or remove those risks.
This management begins with a survey to inspect the trees using the Visual Tree Assessment method. The result will be a report and map containing:
- Identification of the trees and several features that can be monitored over time
- Their current structural state
- Their current physiological state (health)
- Remarks and management recommendations with a time frame based on the urgency of the works (Work Priority)
- A map with the inspected trees numbered and plotted upon it with a colour code to depict which trees require work first based their Work Priority classification
A management plan can then be formulated to ensure that the required works are completed in the appropriate timeframe. This can be made into a regular occurring schedule.
